Casu Marzu

                                                                      Casu Marzu

'Casu Marzu' is the one of exotic food in the world. 'Casu Marzu' is a one of a kind cheese and that is from Sardinia, Italy. In that country, Casu Marzu means "rotten cheese". This sheeps' milk cheese is literally crawling with thousands of living maggots. But it is not simply rotten, it is alive!

Casu Marzu is made from Pecorino Sardo cheese,  larvae of Piophila casei flies are introduced into Pecorino before its fermentation begins by lopping off the top of the rind and left out for flies to lay their eggs. Some producers add milk or olive oil inside as well as a drop of brandy or whiskey on the rind to ensure proper texture and taste. The resultant larvae help break down the cheese's fats unti the texture turns viscous and a liquid known as lagrimas, or tears, seeps through the rind.

The larvae themselves have gernered the name "cheese skippers" because of their extraordinary agility. Diners must take care to eat because when you disturbed the larvae, they can leap up to 15cm (6 inchies) in the air.

I choose this kind of exotic food because i like cheese and its sound so delicious. I'm so impressed when I heard dishes like this. Casu Marzu gained notoriety when the Guiness Book of World Records deemed it the "world's most dangerous cheese" in 2008. Still, about a hundred thousand kilograms are said to be produced in Sardinia each years, going for about 20 euro per kilograms. Which adds up to roughly 2 million euro per year made from its sale.

My opinion about Casu Marzu is all cheese's lover much try this kind of food because its sound delicious and interesting but somewhat dangerous. We must try this!

Shark Fin

SHARK FIN

Shark fin soup or shark's fin soup is a popular soup or stewed item. The shark fins provide texture, while the taste comes from the other soup ingredients. International concerns over the sustainability and welfare of sharks have impacted consumption and availability of the soup. Shark fin is most of the popular food in China. They mostly like eat this food, and for sure the price is expansive.

In shark fin soup, the fins themselves are virtually tasteless. The taste comes from the soup, while the fins are valued for their texture. It has a "chewy, sinewy, stringy" texture. Most westerners' reaction to eating shark fin for the first time is that it has almost no taste. However, the fin is used to provide the soup's unique texture rather than to add any flavor. This food good for healthy, but we can't kill shark because many people killed shark only for their fin, then they throw away the shark.

Shark fins were believed in Chinese culture to have propertise boosting sexual potency, enhancing skin quality, increasing energy, preventing heart disease, and lowering cholesterol. Shark fins were believed to help in areas of rejuvenation, appetite enhancement, and blood nourishment and to be beneficial to vital energy, kidneys, lungs, bones, and many other parts of the body.Vitamin content of typical shark fin soup is much less than that of typical vegetable soup, containing almost no vitamin A. However, it contains slightly more iron, zinc, riboflavin, and phosphorus.

The bigger shark fin that show, very valuable and expensive. Only the rich people afford to buy and eat this food. But the poor one also can eat, they must catch by himself. The simple food we look, but it was a greatest food in the word.

The Kobe Beef

KOBE BEEF

Kobe beef - kobe bifu? (KO-BEH) refers to beef from the Tajima strain of Wagyu cattle, raised in Japan's Hyogo Prefecture according to rules as set out by the Kobe Beef Marketing and Distribution Promotion Association.

The meat is a delicacy renowned for its flavour, tenderness, and fatty, well - marbled texture. Kobe beef can be prepared as Steak, Sukiyaki, Shabu Shabu, Sashimi and Teppanyaki.

All the myths about cows getting massages and drinking bear while listening to classical music are just that myths, but nonetheless real Kobe beef is produced under some of the world's strictest legal food standards, whereas ''domestic kobe'' beef production, along with that in Australia and South America, is as regulated as the Wild West.

In Japan, to be Kobe requires a pure linegage of Tajima - Gyu breed cattle (not any old Japanese breed crossbred with American cattle as is the norm here). The animal must also have been born in Hyogo prefecture and thus raised on the local grasses and water and terrior its entire life.

It must be a bull or virgin cow, and it takes considederably longer to raise a Tajima - Gyu foe consumption than most other breed , adding to the cost.

Think you're tasted the famous Japanese Kobe beef? Of course, there are a small number of you out there who have tried it - I did, in Tokyo and its is delicious. If you ever go to Japan I heartily recommend you splurge, because while it is expensive, it is unique, and you cannot get it in the United States. Not as steaks, not as burgers, certainly not as the ubiquitous ''Kobe Sliders'' at your trendy neighborhood '' bistro.

This world famous in Japanese delicacy is a definite must - try...! A portion of this fancy plate can cost up to $300,00. Kobe beef is made from Tajima cattle, raised in very strict and meticulos conditions in the Hyogo prefecture in Japan. The sophisticated lifestyles of these animals includes a diet of apples and beer, regular massage as well as sake - infused brushing sessions. All of this care result in an incomparable buttery and tender meat .

Monkey's Brain

A CUTE MONKEY

MONKEY BRAIN

Monkey is well known in Asian country such as Malaysia, Thailand etc. Monkey brain is attributed to china, also eaten in Africa and many other countries. However this dish was banned in china because people find it inhumane when this dish is eaten while the monkey is still alive.

Different culture sometimes made some of human believe in the important of eating this dish. Some of them said it may bring luck, some said it gives you vitality and many other beliefs.

This cuisine is such a very expansive and only affordable for rich people. These people sometimes ordered this dish just to prove their richness and bravery, even they can not sallow a single bite of it.

For my opinion this dish is no way a tradition cuisine. Monkeys usually located in many Asia country, yet the Monkey brains is never been on any menu in any local store, legally or illegally. I bet they are prohibited though. If i be you, i would never eat this dish because the monkey look very cute!

Many of you did not know how was this dish been prepared for customer right? so, each monkey was alive in a small wooden box with it's shaved head sticking out. Each of the customer received a hammer, knife, and a large spoon. the hammer used to knock the monkey until the monkey die. The knife is used to cut the monkey brain and the spoon is used to take the brain out from the monkey's head.

Why u should not eat this dish is because it is kinda risky for your health. It is high of fat, it also can cause creutzfeldt-zakod disease and other prion disease in human.

what does it taste like? it taste a bit mushy and too salty. As you guys know that high of salt can cause high blood pressure.

So i leave you guys with this link below. You guys can check on to see how this dish was done. Hope you guys enjoy the video!

Tarantula

                                          TARANTULA

Fried spider is a regional delicacy in Cambodia . Throughout markets in Phnom Penh and in the small Cambodian town, fried Tarantula is a popular snack that locals and tourists simply love . People in Skuon called a - ping . If you find the right vendor, you my even get to handle a live tarantula if you're brave enough , and then take a bite .

These spiders are Zebra tarantulas , which are native to the forests of Cambodia . It is normal to see a vender in Cambodia with several buckets full of live spiders , ready to fry up to the next hungry customer . The zebra tarantula has a nasty bite , so be sure not to get too close to the bucket unless you want to have a close encounter of the hairy , scary kind !

The taste has been described as bland, "rather like a cross between chicken and cod (genus gadus)", with a contrast in texture from a crispy exterior to a soft center. the legs contain little flesh, while the head and body have a delicate white meat inside'' .

If you need a further incentive to try this Zebra tarantula , you should know that the local women believe that it will greatly enhance their beauty . Even the kids in Cambodia are brave enough to eat these deep fried tarantula , so don't be scared . Once you bit into this crispy fried tarantulas , you are sure to have a one of a kind experience .

Live Cobra's Heart

COBRA

LIVE COBRA'S HEART

Cobra means poisonous snake that can spread out the skin at the back of its snake . Cobras live in India and Africa .

Live Cobra Heart is not a common thing to eat but some in Vietnam do it. ''Many young tourists come to Vietnam and think that this kind of activity is part of Vietnamese culture'' . Said Nguyen Tam Thank of Animal Asia in a statement . This is not part of modern Vietnam and the fact that it survives at all is largely down the tourist trade''

The Vietnamese eat live cobra's heart raw and uncooked . To prepare this dish they will wash the cobra's heart with the cobra's blood . People who eat this dish think that they will endure the powers and strenght of the cobra and so , they don't even clean it , just swallow it whole , while it is still beating . This dish is definitely not far the faint- heated .

Cobra Heart is edible but the blood is vicious . In addition , drinking snake blood , eating its heart is the trendy thing to do far western tourists in  Vietnam . Animal Asia is now running a campaign against it , calling it ''barbaric'' .

Those who follow the teaching of Islam are not allowed to eat cobra heart because it is not halal . Practising Muslim can not eat any animals which eat other animals , such as these reptiles . Prohibited for Muslim yet it is allowed for other religion .

Some people might like to give a try some adventures food . We recommend you guy to try live cobra heart . It might sound a little bit weird but just to gain some more experience of eating it . Why not ? who knows you guys might fall for its if you guys come to Asia country try to find some . Good luck and have fun !

Eating Frog's Legs

FROGS IN A RESTAURANT

It happened when monks assert themselves grown too fat , church jurisdiction suggest them not to eat meat on a certain day a year . The monks said frog didn't qualified as a fish and it is didn't count as a meat . A national delicacy was born when hungry French peasants followed the monks example .

These cuisine also eaten in other part of the world such as Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia etc. Based on my review, most of people love eating frog's legs because it tastes good. Some of them said it tastes like fish and chicken. Meanwhile, the texture of the meat is mild. It can be cooked in variety of methods such as deep fried, steam, grilled and etc.

Indonesia constitute the world's largest exporter and consumer of frog's legs. Many of you did not know that a frog's leg contain high of protein, and only have 0.3 grams of fats compared to 3 grams of grilled chicken breast. they also rich of source of omega-3, fatty acid, potassium and vitamin A which is good for our health.

The Chinese believe, if you are eating frog's legs while pregnancy will make babies develop strong legs. They also believe that the frog's legs consider as good luck.

Barack Obama eating frog's leg

Lastly, frog is the little green thing that eats disease-caring mosquitoes and water-consuming algae. Their skin secretions have been proven to combat some viruses. However, the festival and  tradition of eating frog's legs must be stopped. FL have a frog eating festival each year. The festival is responsible for the death of 80,000 of frogs each year. Thus, we need frogs and frogs need their legs to stay alive. Together we stand to help the frog!

STOP EATING FROG'S LEGS!!
