Casu Marzu

                                                                      Casu Marzu

'Casu Marzu' is the one of exotic food in the world. 'Casu Marzu' is a one of a kind cheese and that is from Sardinia, Italy. In that country, Casu Marzu means "rotten cheese". This sheeps' milk cheese is literally crawling with thousands of living maggots. But it is not simply rotten, it is alive!

Casu Marzu is made from Pecorino Sardo cheese,  larvae of Piophila casei flies are introduced into Pecorino before its fermentation begins by lopping off the top of the rind and left out for flies to lay their eggs. Some producers add milk or olive oil inside as well as a drop of brandy or whiskey on the rind to ensure proper texture and taste. The resultant larvae help break down the cheese's fats unti the texture turns viscous and a liquid known as lagrimas, or tears, seeps through the rind.

The larvae themselves have gernered the name "cheese skippers" because of their extraordinary agility. Diners must take care to eat because when you disturbed the larvae, they can leap up to 15cm (6 inchies) in the air.

I choose this kind of exotic food because i like cheese and its sound so delicious. I'm so impressed when I heard dishes like this. Casu Marzu gained notoriety when the Guiness Book of World Records deemed it the "world's most dangerous cheese" in 2008. Still, about a hundred thousand kilograms are said to be produced in Sardinia each years, going for about 20 euro per kilograms. Which adds up to roughly 2 million euro per year made from its sale.

My opinion about Casu Marzu is all cheese's lover much try this kind of food because its sound delicious and interesting but somewhat dangerous. We must try this!

Shark Fin

SHARK FIN

Shark fin soup or shark's fin soup is a popular soup or stewed item. The shark fins provide texture, while the taste comes from the other soup ingredients. International concerns over the sustainability and welfare of sharks have impacted consumption and availability of the soup. Shark fin is most of the popular food in China. They mostly like eat this food, and for sure the price is expansive.

In shark fin soup, the fins themselves are virtually tasteless. The taste comes from the soup, while the fins are valued for their texture. It has a "chewy, sinewy, stringy" texture. Most westerners' reaction to eating shark fin for the first time is that it has almost no taste. However, the fin is used to provide the soup's unique texture rather than to add any flavor. This food good for healthy, but we can't kill shark because many people killed shark only for their fin, then they throw away the shark.

Shark fins were believed in Chinese culture to have propertise boosting sexual potency, enhancing skin quality, increasing energy, preventing heart disease, and lowering cholesterol. Shark fins were believed to help in areas of rejuvenation, appetite enhancement, and blood nourishment and to be beneficial to vital energy, kidneys, lungs, bones, and many other parts of the body.Vitamin content of typical shark fin soup is much less than that of typical vegetable soup, containing almost no vitamin A. However, it contains slightly more iron, zinc, riboflavin, and phosphorus.

The bigger shark fin that show, very valuable and expensive. Only the rich people afford to buy and eat this food. But the poor one also can eat, they must catch by himself. The simple food we look, but it was a greatest food in the word.

Sannakji is one of a special delicacy in Korean. Sannakji is octopus, nakji means small actopus. It usually serves in a small bowl with sesame oil eaten while its still moving. its still moving even after they choped it into a hundred pieces. It beacuse of the nerves activity is made the tentacles moving.

Many of you guys would have this kind of question in your head.... how to eat them? all those baby octopuses? This is the right way to eat all of them.. you need to cewing it really fast cause you would not like the octopus to latch into your throats and choke it. They can kill you if u not eat them right. Perhaps, you can it them with sesame oil.

WITH SESAME OIL

What does it taste? most of the feedback said they taste really good but it is kinda scary to eat all of them will it still moving. You will find this dish at Bunsan in Korea. After i done my review this dish is quite hard to eat cause it is sticky and it will stuck where ever you put it . If you go to the reastaurant that provide this kind of manu you can asked them put serve it with garlic and onion.

My opinion for this dish is, if you want to eat just to gain some experinces, you are allowed to, but make sure you it them right. if not..... you will die on the spot just right after you ate them. Make a right decision before you decide to eat.

So here i leave yoou guys with a video of a woman eating octopuses on youtube. So you guys can click on the link below. Hope you enjoy it !!
